We're committed to meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and continuously improving based on user feedback.

All profile photos and shared images require descriptive alt-text for screen reader users.
Customizable Display
Adjust text size, font family, contrast, and motion preferences to suit your needs.
Keyboard Navigation
Full keyboard support with visible focus indicators and skip links.
Screen Reader Support
Semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and proper heading structure throughout.
Dyslexia-Friendly Fonts
Choose from system fonts, serif, or dyslexia-friendly font options.
Reduced Motion
Disable animations and transitions if they cause discomfort.
Display Settings
We offer extensive customization options to make KindredAccess comfortable for you:
- Text Size: Small, Medium (default), Large, Extra Large
- Font Family: System default, Serif, Dyslexia-friendly (OpenDyslexic)
- High Contrast Mode: Enhanced color contrast for better visibility
- Reduced Motion: Minimize or eliminate animations
- Increased Line Spacing: More space between lines for easier reading
- Simplified Reading Mode: Cleaner layout with fewer distractions
Assistive Technology Compatibility
KindredAccess is tested with and optimized for:
- Screen Readers: VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA, JAWS
- Voice Control: Voice Control (macOS/iOS), Dragon NaturallySpeaking
- Switch Devices: Compatible with switch navigation
